THE ROLE OF JIRAW IN LEARNING KARAKALPAK FOLKLORE

Abstract

The article presents scientific review on the formation and development of Karakalpak  jiraw  and baqsis arts  which form the basis of  Karakalpak music art, notes the role of the dutar player’s ensemble «Mukhalles, as well as the role of modern young artists in the development of the art of jiraws and baqsis.
